Karstorp has always been a place where people meet. In recent years a lot has happened here. We are developing the estate step by step and building something that is more than a classic hotel and conference venue.<\/p>\n

Today there is a restaurant, hotel, Butcher Boys BBQ, events, estate grounds \u2013 and right now our new spa is also taking shape. The idea is simple: Karstorp should be a living place where people come for food, experiences, rest and togetherness.<\/p>\n

We are not building something finished \u2013 we are building something that keeps evolving.<\/strong><\/p>\n

New ideas, new environments and new projects are taking shape all the time, and to keep developing we need more driven people in the kitchen.
We are now looking for:<\/p>\n

COOK<\/strong>
As a cook at Karstorp you work in a kitchen where the days can look different \u2013 restaurant service, conference lunches, events and other experiences on the estate. You work closely with our head chef Jonas, who has nearly 10 years of experience from working in Michelin Guide environments. Here you get the chance to grow in an environment with high ambitions, structure and a clear focus on quality.<\/p>\n

Duties may include, for example:
\u2022 Preparing and cooking food
\u2022 Service in the restaurant and at events
\u2022 Mise en place and planning ahead of service
\u2022 Collaborating in the kitchen team on menus and production
\u2022 Responsibility for order, hygiene and structure in the kitchen<\/p>\n

COLD KITCHEN CHEF (GARDE MANGER)<\/strong>
As a cold kitchen chef you work with the cold kitchen and are responsible for preparation, plating and production for the restaurant, conferences and events.<\/p>\n

Duties may include, for example:<\/u><\/p>\n

  • Preparing breakfast<\/li>\n
  • Baking \u2013 bread and pastries<\/li>\n
  • Salads, starters and cold dishes<\/li>\n
  • Preparation for conferences and events<\/li>\n
  • Support in the kitchen during service<\/li>\n
  • Order and structure in the cold kitchen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    We are looking for someone who:<\/u>
    \u2022 Has experience from a kitchen or restaurant
    \u2022 Is meticulous and likes structure
    \u2022 Enjoys a kitchen where people work together
    \u2022 Has energy and a willingness to work<\/p>\n
